The project is worth Rs. 178.64 crore and involves a vast range of critical installations in the Gevra Road–Pendra Road railway section of Chhattisgarh.
The awarded scope consists of the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of distributed/centralised electronic interlocking systems, integrated telecommunications networks, and wayside train control equipment at multiple new and existing locations.

Electronic Interlocking Installations- Installation of Distributed/Centralised Electronic Interlocking (EI) systems at 10 new stations:

- Dhangawan
- Bhadi
Intermediate Block Signaling (IBS) Systems- Commissioning of 6 new IBSs across key block sections:
- Bhingra–Putuwa
- Putuwa–Matin
- Sendurgarh–Putipakhana
- Putipakhana–Bhadi
- Bhadi–Dhangawan
- Dhangawan–Pendra Road
These IBS systems will play a crucial role in accelerating line capacity and operational flexibility in the region.
Train Control and Communication System- Installation and commissioning of Section Control System with-
- Headquarters-level control integration
- Wayside Train Control Communication Equipment/System in the Gevra Road–Pendra Road section
This collaboration ensures real-time coordination and efficient train operations, aligning with Indian Railways’ digital modernization goal.
Telephone Exchange & EIMWB Systems
- Installation of a new Telephone Exchange system for seamless communication.
- Supply and commissioning of Electronic In-Motion Weighbridges (EIMWBs) at appropriate locations, aiding real-time freight monitoring and weighing without halting trains.
Modifications at Existing Installations– The scope also covers modification works at key operational yards to align with new systems:
- Alteration in the existing panel interlocking installation at Kusmunda Block Station (KBS) yard
- Modification of electronic interlocking at East Cabin of SECL SILO Siding (KMKA) yard
These updates are necessary to provide compatibility and smooth integration with the new systems being deployed.
