Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) has awarded a contract worth INR 23.81 crore to Rahee Infratech Limited for the installation of ballastless track, including buffer stop supply, in the priority corridor of the Patna Metro Rail Project (Malahi Pakhri to New ISBT). The project is scheduled for completion within six months.
The awarded contract covers the following key responsibilities:
Procurement & Supply:
- Supply of P-Way materials, except for rails, fastenings, ballastless turnouts, and scissor crossovers, which will be provided by DMRC.
- Procurement of materials from Engineer-approved stores as per BOQ specifications.
Design & Engineering:
- Compliance with Metro Railways/MRTS Track Structure Standards issued by the Railway Board.
- Design of plinth/slab track structure in line with approved specifications.
- Engagement of a qualified designer with expertise in elevated and underground metro track projects.
Execution & Quality Control:
- Mechanized handling and transportation of materials (including employer-supplied materials) to the project site.
- Submission of temporary and permanent works design, ensuring alignment with DMRC’s standards.
- Certification of temporary works design and As-Built Drawings for project documentation.
- Regular inspection and compliance monitoring to ensure adherence to design intent and contractual obligations.
