Nagpur Metro Orange Line: Indora Chowk station begins commercial operations

Nagpur Metro achieves another milestone as Indora Chowk Metro Station on the Orange Line opens for passenger services. This addition is part of Phase 1, featuring 38.215 km of metro corridor and 38 stations. With this, trains now operate from 38 stations, enhancing connectivity across North-South and East-West corridors for commuters.


Indora Chowk Station Opens for Passenger Services on Nagpur Metro’s Orange Line:

Nagpur Metro has opened Indora Chowk Metro Station for passenger services on the Orange Line. This station received clearance from the Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS), allowing commuters to begin their journey from this new stop.

With this development, Nagpur Metro now operates from a total of 38 stations, comprising 18 stations on the Orange Line and 20 on the Aqua Line. The Phase 1 project, spanning 38.215 kilometers, is divided into two key corridors:

  • North-South Corridor: 19.658 kilometers with 18 stations.
  • East-West Corridor: 18.557 kilometers with 20 stations.

Indora Chowk Station falls under the North-South Corridor, which aims to improve connectivity and facilitate efficient travel for residents across the city.
