IRCON and Northeast Frontier Railway partner for electrical infrastructure maintenance in Tinsukia-Lumding division

IRCON has signed a groundbreaking agreement with Northeast Frontier Railway for the maintenance of Overhead Equipment (OHE) and Power Supply Installation (PSI) assets. Covering 20 OHE depots in Tinsukia and Lumding divisions, this contract is the first of its kind for a PSU in electrical TRD infrastructure maintenance.


Scope of the Agreement:

  • The agreement encompasses the maintenance and emergency breakdown attention of OHE and PSI assets across:
    • Tinsukia Division: Nine OHE depots
    • Lumding Division: Eleven OHE depots
  • This marks a significant step in ensuring the operational efficiency and reliability of critical rail infrastructure in the region.
