Hill International and Deutsche Bahn Engineering & Consulting JV has bagged Rs. 135 crore General Consultant contract for the 28.8 km Gurugram Metro Corridor. The project, featuring 27 elevated stations, will connect Millennium City Centre to Cyber City, accelerating connectivity, reducing congestion, and advancing sustainable urban mobility in Gurugram.
Introduction:
Hill International, in joint venture with Deutsche Bahn Engineering & Consulting (DBE&C), has been awarded the prestigious General Consultant (GC) contract by Gurugram Metro Rail Limited (GMRL) for the city’s new metro corridor. This ambitious project aims to transform Gurugram’s urban transit landscape by delivering a state-of-the-art elevated metro line spanning 28.8 km with 27 stations.
The corridor will connect Millennium City Centre to Cyber City, providing seamless mobility across one of India’s fastest-growing urban hubs. The project includes a main corridor of 26.65 km and a 1.85 km spur from Basai Village to Dwarka Expressway, along with a depot connection.
Comprehensive Role of the GC:
As General Consultant, DBE&C–Hill will oversee the entire execution lifecycle, ensuring high-quality delivery and timely completion. Their scope of work includes:
- Reviewing the Detailed Project Report (DPR)
