Initial Capacity and Expansion Plans:
The facility begins operations with a manufacturing capacity of 10,000 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA). GPT has planned for phased expansion, with provisions in place to scale up the total production capacity to 25,000 MTPA over the next two years to meet growing demand.
Approvals and Compliance:
The company is currently pursuing approval from the Research Designs and Standards Organisation (RDSO) for the production of steel bridge girders at the new facility. Once approved, this will further enhance GPT’s ability to cater to key rail and road clients.
